- Check verified releases from the configured update manifest.
- Download packages with SHA256 verification.
- Verify embedded RELEASE_VERSION and archive safety before install.
- Create a full backup before applying an update.
- Update config/environment version together with the package.
- Restart panel services and verify runtime/API version consistency.
- Keep the previous application tree for rollback.
- Roll back the previous verified release.
- Expose the installed changelog in Update Manager.
