# SCpanel v1.3.0-P2 Operations

## Scope
P2 focuses on operational quality: documentation, log retention, timezone consistency and monitoring improvements.

## Time
- Canonical API timestamps are UTC ISO-8601 (`timestamp_utc`).
- UI may render local browser time for convenience.
- Operational storage remains UTC to avoid server/browser timezone ambiguity.

## Log retention
- Default: 30 days.
- Allowed: 1–365 days.
- App Store provider logs are pruned automatically during catalog refresh.
- Systemd journal retention remains controlled by the operating system/journald policy.

## Monitoring
`/api/monitor` reports CPU, RAM, swap, disk, load, uptime, processes, service health, aggregate network RX/TX, per-interface network counters and disk read/write counters.

## P2 acceptance
- Settings persist across service restarts.
- Retention values outside 1–365 days are rejected/fallback to 30.
- Monitoring API returns a UTC ISO timestamp.
- Existing App Store detection remains based on actual OS state.
